Anytime a dog goes somewhere new, there can be a little—or sometimes a lot—of anxiety. New place. New people. New smells. New friends. Even the most social pups can feel unsure at first. After all, they don’t know if they’re here to play… or if they’re going to get a shot like at the vet.
That’s why at Pawsh Park, we roll out the red carpet on day one.
Extra Care on Their First DayWe believe first impressions matter. Our goal is to make your pup feel safe, loved, and confident so they’re excited to come back when you’re ready.
On Meet & Greet day:
A Pawsh Park supervisor will personally take your pup into a yard one-on-one
We spend time getting to know them, offering extra reassurance, love, hugs, and attention
This helps your pup learn quickly that our people are friendly, calm, and here for them
Thoughtful Playgroup IntroductionsOnce your pup is comfortable, we introduce them to other dogs based on their personality and comfort level:
If they’re a little unsure, we’ll keep their group small and calm
If they’re confident and having a blast, we’ll slowly introduce more friends
We never rush the process or overwhelm them
Our job is to balance fun and safety—making sure your pup isn’t overstressed but also isn’t held back from having an amazing day.
